About Us

The Deli Women & Children’s Centre Incorporated is a non-profit community based organisation.The Deli was established in 1979, to provide services to the community, targeting the Botany and Randwick Local Government area.The centre has become recognised as a leader in the fight to stop violence against women as well as successfully maintaining a dual service model of also delivering children’s support services to the local community.

​The Deli Women and Children’s Centre is the contact agency for the Eastern Suburbs Domestic Violence Network, which involves consultation, networking and collaboration with like-minded organisations within the region.

Management Committee

The Deli Women & Children’s Centre is managed by members from the local community who donate their time to provide governance to the organisation.

Our Patron – Dr Christina Curry

DrCurryChristina grew up in the local area and has a wide community engagement, which includes serving as a local government councillor. She has 20 years’ experience in the education sector, employed in a senior academic leadership role with Western Sydney University where she is the Director, Academic Program – Secondary Education. Before that Christina served as a lecturer and tutor at the University of Sydney and was a high school teacher. Christina is a Director of The Randwick Club and Randwick Bowling Club and an experienced leader with a demonstrated track record in professional development, community engagement and social welfare. She holds a PhD, a Master of Education degree and a Bachelor of Physical Education.
