The Deli employs part time counsellors to provide counselling and casework services to women in the local community. Counselling services include domestic violence counselling and general counselling. Casework services include assessment, referrals, advocacy, provision of information and education. These services are provided free of charge.

The counselling team also run a variety of educational and therapeutic groups such as Domestic Violence, Self Empowerment, Welcoming Women into the Workforce and Time Out. Group facilitators are qualified professionals in their area of expertise. Group programs are scheduled each school term.
